ÁRA er tónleikasería sem tekur útgangspunkt í nýjum tengslum í tónlist, Halla Steinunn Stefánsdóttir setur saman tónleikadagskrá í tilefni af sýningunni Steina: Tímaflakk.
Tónleikar seríunnar veita innsýn í tilraunir sem kanna hvað gerist og breytist þegar gervigreind verður hluti af tónsköpunarferlinu.
Þriðju tónleikarnir eru afrakstur náins samstarfs Júlíu Mogensen og Þórönnu Björnsdóttur sem hófst með könnun á möguleikum dórófónsins (elektró-akústískt feedback hljóðfæri Halldórs Úlfarssonar) í samtali við mismunandi rými. Þetta leiddi m.a. til sköpunar verks fyrir hljóðfærið í Gróttuvita. Sú upplifun leiddi í ljós einkar áhugaverðan grundvöll til sköpunar þar sem hljóðfæraleikarinn og nálgun tónskáldsins á tónsmíðarnar urðu óhjákvæmilega fyrir áhrifum af hljómburði rýmisins í samtali við dórófóninn.
„Untitled“ er áframhaldandi tilraun og skoðun á margþættu sambandi staðar og stundar, hljóðfæraleikara og hljóðfæra, en nú mun Stacco bætast við samtalið, en það er nýstárlegt rafsegulshljóðfæri sem Nicola Privato hefur verið að þróa undanfarin ár við Intelligent Instruments Lab.

AURA is a concert series exploring the new relationships emerging in music through innovative system design. The series is curated by Halla Steinunn Stefánsdóttir on the occasion of the Steina: Playback exhibition.
All events open the doors to ongoing experiments. Last out is a project which results from a collaboration between Júlía Mogensen and Þóranna Björnsdóttir. They have previously explored the possibilities of the halldorophone (Halldór Úlfarsson's electroacoustic feedback instrument) in dialogue with different spaces. This included creating a piece for the instrument in the Grótta lighthouse. The experience revealed a fascinating foundation for creation where both the instrumentalist and the composer's approach were inevitably influenced by the space's acoustic properties interacting with the halldorophone.
'Untitled' continues this experimentation and investigation into the multifaceted relationship between place and time, performer and instrument. Now Stacco, an innovative electromagnetic instrument that Nicola Privato has been developing in recent years at the Intelligent Instruments Lab, will join the process.
